Claire Ruegg

Claire joined P3 Consulting in 2021 after earning her master’s degree in public policy from Vanderbilt University. Her studies at Vanderbilt were focused on postsecondary access and success with an emphasis on the transition from K-12 to higher education. While earning her MPP, Claire was a graduate fellow at Tennessee SCORE, where she supported the research and policy teams. She was also a graduate assistant at the Tennessee Board of Regents, where she developed resources for community college staff and students during COVID-19.

Prior to entering graduate school, Claire was a CollegePoint advisor at College Possible, a national college access nonprofit. She worked with high achieving, low-income high school students across the country to help them apply to and enroll in postsecondary institutions that were strong academic, financial, and social fits. This experience, and particularly her former students, continue to inform her values and work in education policy.

Claire was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN and graduated with honors from Grinnell College in 2016.
